Originally from Jasper Alberta, not too far from my current location in Red Deer AB. I have been working hard to find a balance between work, life, and music. In 2000 I moved to Red Deer to attend the Red Deer College Music Program. Trying to keep up with the costs of a young family I switched majors and achieved a diploma in Business Administration. After an eight year stint with the Royal Bank Of Canada I found that my dreams and love for music are more important then a career in finance. Life has become a lot more interesting for me now that I have set my sights on a life in music. I have more time to spend with my three children and I get to live a life that I am proud and excited to live. I love entertaining people and love that people respond as well as they do to my music, I am very fortunate to have the ability to play music for a living.
In 2010 I began playing cover tunes in local venues in and around the Red Deer. While playing a variety of tunes from all genres, my main focus has always been Folk and Alternative styles of music. I am always influenced by all types of music but have always found great inspiration from artists such as Dallas Green (City & Colour) as well as Elliot Smith and Damien Rice. Music is a constant learning curve for me and I am growing more and more every day. Looking forward to playing and seeing more and more venues as the years go by.
